Navigator will be running the course “Financial Modelling for Oil & Gas Projects” for the first time in Sydney on the 12 & 13 September. Following the success of our other sector specific modelling course, “Financial Modelling for Mining Projects”, we have responded to the numerous requests from clients in the oil & gas sectorfor specific financial modelling training in this area.
This intensive two day course enables you to learn how to build a cashflow model for evaluating the economics of a petroleum project. You learn the fundamentals of modelling the net cashflow of a petroleum case study and then layer on top a capital structure for return and debt cover analysis. Developed and delivered by our experienced oil & gas specialists, this course shares with you the insights we have gained from working on numerous petroleum project models.
Financial Modelling for Oil & Gas will enable you to:
- Increase confidence in your financial models and Excel-based analysis
- Build more efficient structures and reduce errors in your financial models
- Become more productive in Excel (no more formatting or using the mouse)
- Gain a better understanding of what select Excel functions to use or avoid
- Harness the power of scenario management in your financial models
“This course benefits people from both the finance sector and the oil & gas sector, giving them the financial modelling and Excel skills to effectively communicate and analyse the project.”
- Kenny Chew, financial modelling trainer
