3. Now, what you need to do is to click on the “Share” button, and then click on “Select window” (or, if you want to show the entire screen, click on “Show entire screen”):

4. Open the Excel document you wish to share. When you open it, you will see a small toolbar with the option “Show selected window”. Once you click on this, your friend will be able to see your Excel document, and any changes or mouse movements which you make.

5. When you wish to stop sharing the Excel screen, simply click on the “Stop sharing” button which now appears at the top of your spreadsheet:

As you can see, it’s very easy – and extremely useful in getting Excel help from your friends and colleagues.
Screen sharing via Skype – it’s safe
Screen sharing via Skype is safe. Your friends and colleagues will not be able to take control of your computer, all they will be able to do is to view the windows you choose to share with them, they will not be able to modify the contents.
